event
on Saturday 9th March. The event starts at 14:30.
Monoprinting on a Gelli plate is simple and fun without the need for a printing press. The gratification is immediate and each print is truly unique.
You will roll the ink out onto the plate, before placing stencils or objects over it and then printing onto paper. It's fun, soothing and makes totally unique artwork. Just watch and see what you create!
In this experience you will:
Learn how to mix and apply paints to your gelliplate
Use stencils, objects and tools to create interesting effects and striking colour combinations
Discover and experiment with ways to create multi-layered monoprints
Have plenty of opportunities to play about with this fun print method
Enjoy watching your designs come to life!
