Family Pot Painting & Candle Making at Prior Shop, Cabot Circus
£25 adult + child

A event on Wednesday 29th May. The event starts at 10:30.

Share a little creative quality time with the kids at the Family Pot Painting & Candle Making workshop, with Mooke Handmade.

This special workshop has been devised for families, and their friends, to slow down and get their hands mucky, while focusing on stimulating the senses.

The session will begin with decorating little terracotta pots, using a selection of acrylic paints and posca pens (for those who find brushes too fiddly). This is a lovely opportunity for creativity and imagination to run wild!

After a little snack break - whilst the pots dry - we will then move on to filling the pots with melted wax and a choice of essential oils to produce a beautiful candle that the whole family can enjoy.

As the candles set, we will discuss the ways in which each family can create a special ritual together, for each time they light their candle, thus creating extra connection and intentional quality time amidst the madness of daily life.

Each ticket admits one or two adults and one child who will make one candle together. Please add an additional child ticket for any other child in attendance who will make their own candle.

Children must be accompanied by an adult who will assist them in making the candle.
