A
event
on Thursday 24th October. The event starts at 18:00.
Macramé is a creative and relaxing craft focusing on tying strings into knots and is a great way of relieving stress. In this 2.5-hour workshop, you will spend time with a glass of fizz in the workshop room of Prior at Cabot Circus, where your host Aggy from Knots and Stalks will teach you how to knot your own pair of wooden and recycled cotton macramé earrings.
Aggy will provide advice on choosing a design and then you'll get to choose from a selection of colourful recycled cotton cords so your earrings will suit your tastes perfectly. Once you're set with your colours, you'll be guided through the knot-making process as you get hands-on with your materials.
At the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a feeling of satisfaction as you put your newly made earrings on your ears and show them off in town!
What to expect:
Design inspiration from your artist host
Guidance on how to create the knots
All materials provided
A glass of prosecco or hot drinks
A beautiful pair of earrings to take home
Come along, have fun with other crafters and make the perfect new addition to your accessory box or a thoughtful gift for your loved one.
