Pataphysical Disco in the Haunted Dancehall.
The mysterious Club Stoic materialises at the Propyard this Thursday, with DJs Atki2 (Ruffnek Discotek, Super Soca Show) and Charlie Stoic (Stoic Show, Terrain, Science!) going back-to-back on a cross-genre excursion through the sonic outback.
Fractured rhythms, inverted synths, purple snowcapped bass. Expect spacey dub jams, infernal disco slammers, isolationist bass, postpunk weirdiness and likely some hip-hop, soca and afrobeats thrown in there somewhere too. Who knows?
Think of it as a "Choose Your Own Adventure" except with music, and you don't really choose, just come along for the ride.
