Gaza Solidarity Mural Painting & Fundraiser
Come on down to The People’s Republic of Stokes Croft on Saturday 31st of May for a solidarity mural making day, Painted on an outsdie wall of the building.
Palestinian artist Jamila from Nablus (@artful.narrative) will be painting a mural in response to a design of an artist in Gaza, who will be painting a mural on the same day. This project is taking place in cities across the UK.
We invite everyone to come and show solidarity by coming down to the mural painting where we
will also have cake and art for sale, all raising money for Palestinian families in Gaza.
There will be an opportunity for community participation towards the end of the mural painting, around 4pm, where you can add your fingerprint to the wall in a show of solidarity.
This event is free but if you would like to purchase a ticket, all funds will go towards supporting families in Gaza. The name of the artist, currently in Gaza’s currently private for their safety.
