We are The People's Comedy, and for this night we’re at our PRSC HQ for a night of laughter, cold drinks, and the very best in stand-up comedy atmosphere and vibes.

Your hand-picked, always hilarious line-up is:

⭐Chris Chopping (MC) – Guiding the night with two New Act of the Year titles and regular credits across BBC SESH and BBC Radio Wales.

⭐ Alexandra Haddow – Stamping her mark with backing from comedy legends: "One of the most exciting new acts on the circuit." – Frankie Boyle.

⭐ Micah Hall – Conquered the toughest room in town as WINNER of King Gong at The Comedy Store.

⭐ Charlie Vero – Standout performer and Finalist for the Funny Women Stage Award.

⭐ Nick Byard – Runner-Up for Chester New Comedian of the Year 2022.

⭐ Niniko – Rising talent and Semi-Finalist in So You Think You're Funny?.

WHY THE PEOPLE’S COMEDY?

We formed in 2018 based on 2 pillars:
1) To create a platform for hilarious comics who are counter-cultural (original, imaginative, underrepresented, alternative.. Revolutionary...).
2) A place where all comics are paid, no questions asked (this might not sound revolutionary but in our sector it sadly has been).

We've gone on to win more comedy awards than any other in the South West on England and Wales (most recently Best Comedy Format 2026),

Also, we don’t do "headliners" — there's no pressure on the last act or the audience to laugh at the grand finale... It's chilled and we platform each comedian equally. We are selective with the comedians and each one will make you laugh of course!

Community First: Your ticket supports the collectively owned PRSC building, helping a Bristol icon grow and thrive.

Fair Play: We’ve raised tens of thousands of pounds to ensure our acts are paid fairly via our equal pay structure.

Honest Pricing: Comedy like any art should be accessible to all, so we try to keep our prices low. The more that we make, however, the more we can pay our incredible performers! But please only give what you can comfortably.
