Winner - Best Themed Comedy Night in the UK outside of London (Chortle, 2023)

WHY THE PEOPLE'S COMEDY?
The People's Comedy formed in 2018 with the aim of platforming comedians with a message (think counter-culture, alternative, original) and ensuring that they're paid for their craft.

This night we'll look to utilize the sunny weather in the People's Republic of Stokes Croft yard, subject to the sun being out. Seats will be placed outside, the bar will be open, a custom stage put up, and the night will commence just under some of the painted words of George Carlin: that, "property is theft. Nobody owns anything. When you die it all stays here".

If the weather is rainy, then we'll run the night inside the PRSC space like usual.

There is a bar which opens the same time as doors, from 7pm.

The Show starts at 7:30pm sharp - it will be in the airy PRSC space if weather disallows outside - so please arrive in time before then.
