With no public funding, the sector relies on community support. Donations help provide training, wellbeing support, advocacy, accessible comedy projects, and ongoing lobbying to secure proper recognition and funding for live comedy workers. Every pound helps strengthen and sustain the comedy community. You can donate here also: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/stand-up-give

WHY THE PEOPLE'S COMEDY?
The People's Comedy formed in 2018 with the aim of platforming comedians with a message (think counter-culture, underrepresented, original) and ensuring that they're paid for their craft. On top of that, no headliners showcasing each act's unique comedic voice.

There is a bar which opens the same time as doors, from 7pm.
The show starts at 7:30pm, so please arrive comfortably before then. Come join us on our journey.
