See event details

A event held at PRSC on Sunday 4th April. The event starts at 11:00.

Wondering how to fill your Sunday morning? Log in to the School of Activism and meet Bristol Antifa, a group of local people committed to opposing fascism and all that it stands for. This 1.5 hour session will introduce the ideas and tactics of this active local group.

"Part of the national Anti-Fascist Network, we stand alongside other groups and individuals worldwide in the fight to keep our streets and communities free from fascist ideas and activity. We aim to play a part in building a genuine grassroots movement which is strong, effective and rooted in our workplaces and communities.

As militant antifascists we organise on principles of equality, solidarity and direct action. We believe in organising for ourselves, building links and joining forces to defeat racism and fascism wherever they raise their ugly head. To beat the fascists and the far-right we will need all sorts of tactics and actions, organisation and strength in numbers."

TICKETS: The suggested donation of £4 will help us keep the School of Activism as accessible & low-cost as possible, £8 will subsidise a ticket for someone else - but no-one turned away through lack of funds!

The School of Activism 2.0 is a two week programme of workshops, talks and activities brought to you by Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft over the Easter holidays. The workshops are intended to be empowering experiences equipping people with the tools to challenge the status quo, contest power structures and ultimately to change the world.

We learn by doing. We make our own future.
