Planet Repairs & the Arts at PRSC
See event details

A event held at PRSC on Sunday 4th December. The event starts at 18:00.

Planet Repairs means the transformation of most aspects of human life, of education, economics and arts- making it real, making it about serving our communities, rebuilding our human family and reconnecting the world. As a concept it was developed by the movement for Afrikan Reparations and by Grassroots Communities of Resistance where change is being made already – it’s time that they really led this revolution, and we learn by doing.

With this workshop we want to explore together what role the arts can play in creating Planet Repairs, and share practical steps for working in solidarity with communities who are driving this change.

It’s time to make it make sense!
To bring all power to all peoples!
To win reparations!
To decolonise our minds!
To decolonise our lands!

Part of the People's Art Fair - https://prsc.org.uk/paf - ten days of exhibitions, workshops, music & poetry celebrating creativity & community - at PRSC Space from Dec 1 - 11.

Enabling Active Citizenship since 2019

Curated and hosted by PRSC, School of Activism events are designed to be empowering experiences equipping people with the tools to challenge the status quo, contest power structures and ultimately to change the world.

We learn by doing.
We make our own future.

This project is founded on the ethos of community inclusion and empowerment, so we offer pay-what-you-can solidarity pricing with no-one turned away through lack of funds. Please donate to help us keep the School of Activism affordable to all!
