In collaboration with the Bristol Experimental Puppet Festival and the Festival of Nature 2026, Undergrowth is hosting this FREE TO ATTEND WORKSHOP in which we will collectively make a Giant Willow Puppet!

Join us for a fast paced and fun workshop where we push the possibilities of puppet-making to their proverbial peak- a feat that has never before been attempted in the history of puppet kind- making a giant willow puppet in a single day! In this joint collaboration with the Festival of Nature and Bristol Experimental Puppet Festival, Tom, Wren and others from the Undergrowth crew will be teaching some basic willow weaving skills, facilitating the co-design of our collective creature, and bringing it all to life. Come for an hour or the whole day- everyone welcome!

This workshop will be an act of collective creativity, facilitated by dedicated Undergrowth artists volunteering their time to make this happen. While the event is free to attend, any donation no matter how small will help us keep Undergrowth alive. Please give what you can!
