Global Citizenship Education Workshop at PRSC
Donation

A event held at PRSC on Thursday 11th January. The event starts at 19:00.

We are very excited to welcome a delegation of reparations activist from Global Citizenship Education for Planet Repairs Action (GCEPRA) and the Ablodenunyansa-SANKOFAKUUMBA Indigenous Communiversity of the Gbetowo Nation in West Afrika on a visit to Bristol. We will be discussing practical links of solidarity between community projects across the UK and in indigenous communities of resistance in West Afrika.

Together we will ground in the progressive histories of this city in order to build the internationalist relationships we need as both the UK and Ghana are having election years in 2024. We will be facing different challenges but we are all living under outdated political systems which have opposed struggles for freedom both locally and globally and which are unable to respond to the current social and environmental problems.

With the upswell of positive action for self-determination and Planet Repairs, led by grassroots communities across the world, this system of domination and violence is on the back foot, and so we need to get organised and work on tackling the needs of our communities glocally.

Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Food will be avilable for a donation
