Bristol's cider lovers are in for a treat as the drink will be flowing at this year's Bristol Harbour Festival (17-19 July), thanks to Westons Cider.
As the official cider of the festival, Westons' Stowford Press, the UK's third largest draught cider brand*, will be available from all festival bars across the site. Cider fans will also see Westons take over a corner of Queen Square, where visitors will find a traditional cider bar selling the full range of Westons' ciders, delivered straight from the Westons Cider Mill in Herefordshire.
The festival will be the first event where the company will be showcasing Henry Westons, Old Rosie and Wyld Wood together under the new'Westons Crafted Ciders' umbrella. Established in 1880, the firm has been making English cider using traditional cider-making techniques for over 135 years, with each crafted cider offering something very different.
As well as the old Westons favourites, such as Old Rosie and Wyld Wood, visitors will be able to enjoy five, limited-edition still ciders which were released earlier this year. These include three flavoured Old Rosie Cloudy Ciders: Rhubarb, Elderflower and Cloudy Lemonade, as well as Henry Westons Single Orchard and Henry Westons 1880.
Festival goers will have the opportunity to sample all varieties thanks to the cider'sampler trays' and be in with the chance of winning a case of cider by voting for their favourite'team' via Twitter using the hashtags #TeamWyld, #TeamRosie, #TeamHenry or #TeamStowford.
