Chris Simmonds aka Kidsmart, House Proud People, Deluxe & Simmonds, Retro Emotion, Private Funk, Bakers Dozen. The Push Button Orchestra, The Chris Simmonds Project and Urban Influence are just a few of the pseudonyms and more well-known co-productions that Chris has been known to work under on his musical journey to date, a favourite amongst the underground house music scene, put together on his long-standing imprint Cross Section.
His co-production with the Brit-Funk Project “Hi-Tension Bless the Funk” last year and his mix compilation for Todd Terry’s Inhouse Records “London Calling” were two of main highlights 2017! Plus a load of new music on the way of which you’ll hear on the 21st of April.
Chris currently manages a high spec recording studio in Tileyard Studios Kings Cross, which hosts the likes of Todd Terry, Basement Jaxx and Mac’s Music.
