A clubnight on Friday 25th September. The event starts at 19:30.
Grrrl Crush is 10 so we wanted to mark it with something special by bringing together a few of our favourite things and throwing the silliest party we could think of. We started off doing punk gigs in pubs, and we’ve grown in different directions over the years, but we‘re bringing it back to the roots for this one.
Proudly presenting 7PM OBOE RAVE, brought to you by Molly Sellors and Charlotte Devlin. After a successful run of 7am Oboe Rave shows at the Edinburgh Fringe, these two legends are bringing their own brand of nonsense to Bristol for the first time ever. The idea was inspired by the one and only JS Bach, so it must be good. If you’ve never heard the Vengaboys played on a soprano crumhorn, you’re missing out, and this is your chance.
Support comes from Grrrl Crush co-founder Roberta Pia aka Discobobulator who will be debuting her Prodigy Power Hour in Bristol for the first time. One solid hour of The Prodigy. All killer. No filler. Does what it says on the tin mate.
This is a sober event in collaboration with Bristol Sober Spaces so it is an alcohol free zone, but we will have a lovely bunch of non alcoholic drinks on offer and UNLIMITED CUPS OF TEA. Absolute scenes.
And as if that wasn’t enough, we’ll have decor by the one and only Bristol icon Ramona Eve PLUS some limited edition merch.
We’re collaborating with Nem Sarton of Vadge Badge fame to bring you some limited edition Grrrl Crush Vadge Badges. We’re only making 25 of these so if you want to snap one up, you can add one to your order along with your ticket and get one of Nem’s famous Vadge Badges for an absolute bargain.
See you for our wholesome queer rave in a coffee shop or be square.
