See event details

A gig on Friday 5th January. The event starts at 19:30.

Fallen Moon Promotions presents an evening with an immersive and powerful line up. As you emerge from Christmas, bleary eyed and gravy bearded, hounded by New Years Resolutions, let your soul be cleansed in Bristol's own Temple of Doom, The Red Lion.

Lurcher - Hailing from West Wales, Lurcher's 2021 Ep "Coma" is as awe inspiring and formidable as the Irish Sea. The title track opens with tempestuous pace but soon settles into a hook that would impress a diehard Kyuss fan. "All Now Is Here" is a heavy blues rock masterpiece. The opening riff is reminiscent of early Robin Trower but turned up and tuned down. A short delve into a grungy harmonic chorus perfectly punctuates before returning back to the addictive riffage of the verse, capped off with a blistering solo.

Fools Teeth - The Red Lions renowned Galactic Jams wouldn't be the same without at least one appearance from this towering trio of fuzz aficionados. Stoner, Doom and Psychedelic may well be their middle names?! If you think their jams are sweet then just wait til you see what happens when they're organised.

Underbliss - "... its not everyone's cup of tea, but I really really like it. My musical awakening was grunge and this fits very much into that." - Sommer Valley FM [on their latest single]

Entry requirements: 18+
