Maaike Siegerist and Jonni Slater return to the Redcatch Club with their audiovisual show - original songs accompanied by film projections.
Maaike writes "literate, clever songs packed with imagery" and has "a glorious voice" according to a raving review by the Downend Folk Club.
With his warm, husky voice, Jonni performs beautiful, cinematic songs. His love for film is obvious in the music - indeed, as a composer, he recently won a film scoring contest.
That love for film also led the duo to create stunning videos, which will be projected as they play their songs. Be transported to the Scottish Highlands, stroll along the canals of Venice, or see the Earth from mid-air!
The spotlight act will be our Forest of Dean favourites, Ian and Jan. Doors open at 7.30 pm for a 7.45 pm start. Entry (cash only) is £8, £3 for open mic performers.
