"When war shakes the land, seeds hold a glimmer of hope. The green-fingered folk at Redcatch host an informational evening telling the inspiring story of Buzuruna Juzuruna, a Lebanese permaculture group promoting agricultural self-sufficiency in a time of rabid uncertainty. Afterwards, become part of the solidarity network by spreading basil seeds collected in Nazareth."

on Wednesday 25th February. The event starts at 18:30.
Join us for a screening of Seeds of Dignity (2025, 30 min Arabic with English subtitles) a documentary filmed in Lebanon following Buzuruna Juzuruna, an agroecological farm in the Bekaa Valley.
The film celebrates their inspiring work reclaiming land, food systems and sovereignty — "one seed at a time". It is a story of resistance, land and dignity, showing how communities can grow, share and sustain life through seeds.
We are delighted to be joined by Dan Fox of Two Acre Farm, who will speak about his collaboration with Buzuruna Juzuruna and the power of solidarity through seed saving.
At the end of the evening, basil seeds collected from Nazareth will be shared with seed bearers inviting everyone to continue the story by growing, collecting and sharing seeds in the years to come — a living cycle of care and community.
