A gig on Saturday 19th September. The event starts at 19:00.
A special Saturday night at Rockaway Arts Weekend with Billy Fuller of Beak> and Billy Nomates, bringing two solo sets to our little corner of rural Somerset, followed by guest DJs.
Rockaway will be open from 11am on both Saturday and Sunday, with loads going on across the site before the ticketed events begin.
There’ll be open studios, visiting artists, workshops, exhibitions, installations, music, vegan food and all sorts of other Rockaway happenings. Entry to Rockaway Arts Weekend during the day is free, it’s family friendly and dogs are very welcome as long as they’re kept on leads.
If you’re parking on site, we’ll be asking for a £5 parking donation.
Rockaway Arts Weekend has become the biggest weekend of the year here, with the whole site taken over by art, music, film, workshops and whatever else we manage to squeeze in.
Saturday night we’ve got Billy Fuller and Billy Nomates.
Doors for the gig open at 6pm, with:
6pm - Door
7pm - Kick off
More info on times and DJ's to come.
Billy Fuller is probably best known as a founding member, songwriter and bass player in Beak>, formed in Bristol in 2009 with Geoff Barrow and Matt Williams, and now made up of Fuller, Barrow and Will Young. Across four albums, a stack of singles, EPs and soundtracks, Fuller’s bass has been right at the heart of Beak>’s sound.
In April 2026 he released his debut solo album Fragments on Invada Records, 16 tracks made entirely by Fuller and built from bass, drum machines, synths, motorik rhythms and whatever else he felt like throwing in.
Outside Beak>, his CV is fairly ridiculous. He spent 17 years playing bass with Robert Plant and co-wrote across Mighty ReArranger, Lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar and Carry Fire. He also played on Massive Attack’s Heligoland, including the bassline at the heart of ‘Paradise Circus’.
Joining him is Billy Nomates, aka Tor Maries.
Since her self-titled debut arrived on Invada in 2020, Billy Nomates has built a reputation for sharp, direct songs that move through post-punk, electronic music, folk and plenty in between. Her third album, Metalhorse, arrived in 2025, recorded for the first time with a full band.
She’s bringing a solo set to Rockaway for Arts Weekend.
Then we’ll carry on into the night with guest DJs, with more names still to come.
There’ll be loads more happening across Rockaway all weekend too, so come for the gig and have a wander.
More artists, workshops, exhibitions, films and general Rockaway happenings are still being added.
