Vetiver at Rough Trade Bristol
See event details

A gig held at Rough Trade Bristol on Monday 16th December. The event starts at 19:30.

Now back with his first album since 2015’s ‘Complete Strangers’, ‘Up On High’ relishes Cabic’s ability to mix inspirations to produce understated yet exuberant tracks and features collaborations with Eric Johnson and Tim Ramsey (Fruit Bats), Gabriel Noel (Kendrick Lamar) Dan Iead (Kevin Morby) and Josh Adams (Wild Nothing).

Written on acoustic guitar, the ten songs that make up the new album put Cabic’s sweet, tender and weathered voice centre stage. Vetiver’s “dreamy, pastoral folk” (Pitchfork) continues to shine in an overstimulated world.
