ACID CAT presents:
Repo-Man
Bristol-based noise rock four-piece with psych and post-punk leanings. Reshaping 'rock groop' sturm-und-clang into subnormal forms, son-of-Oldham vocal slurries, oozing Free sax splatter and shards of punishing guitar bliss.
"There is a large amount of highly accomplished guitar work drafting in funk, jazz and Latin techniques of playing but retaining that brazen punk edge which feels so therapeutically angry to listen to. The bass had a delightfully grimy Joy Division urban pessimism about it which gives a darker tone to some of the music. As they move from one ugly grunge gesture to the next they do it with great precision." Bristol In Stereo
Twisted Ankle
"Three piece noise-theatre-jazz-punk from Bristol and Cardiff. Energetic, theatric jazzy noise trio that takes not being very serious, very seriously. Ffo: Shellac, Monty Python, Mclusky, Harold Pinter, Frank Zappa, Dope Body and Primus."
Radiators
Radiators are a five piece garage band based in Bristol UK. Combining elements of punk, sleazy psychedelia and melodic pop hooks into a raw and energetic stew.
‘’Radiators filled the room with a concoction of garage-psych rock; their gritty and often spacey sound was reminiscent of Syd Arthur mixed with the gutsy punk of L.A Witch’’ Tap The Feed
