CHUCK STRANGERS + SAMY SHARIF + 4103

CHUCK STRANGERS + SAMY SHARIF + 4103 at Rough Trade Bristol

A gig held at Rough Trade Bristol on Thursday 26th November. The event starts at 20:00.

Chuck Strangers is a Brooklyn rapper, producer and founding member of the influential Pro Era collective, whose soulful, jazz-inflected production and introspective lyricism have made him one of the defining voices in modern underground hip-hop. After helping shape the sound of Pro Era alongside Joey Bada$$ and Capital STEEZ, he has built an acclaimed solo career that bridges classic East Coast rap with a contemporary, forward-looking approach.

His latest album, A Forsaken Lover's Plea, is his most expansive and personal work to date, pairing candid reflections on growth, perseverance and his lifelong relationship with hip-hop alongside lush production from The Alchemist, Animoss, NV and Chuck himself. Building on the foundations of Consumers Park and Too Afraid to Dance, the record showcases an artist continuing to evolve while remaining rooted in the craftsmanship and storytelling that have earned him lasting respect within New York's rap community.

SAMY SHARIF is a poet, songwriter, and producer mapping his own path across alt-pop and hip-hop in real-time. Driven by instincts for rhythm and melody, incisive lyricism with razor-sharp precision, his music prioritizes vulnerability, self-exploration, and expression. A first-generation Egyptian-Irish artist, New York-born, Midwest-raised, and LA-based, Sharif first developed his craft in Chicago before heading west on a solo pursuit that’s now flourishing in Venice Beach.

4103 is a Bristol based producer, mixing soul, r&b and lovers rock into a unique sound.
