A
gig
held at Rough Trade Bristol
on Tuesday 20th November. The event starts at 19:30.
Harp innovator and ambient music experimenter Mary Lattimore’s latest solo release ‘Hundreds of Days’ has a transfixing affect on its listeners. Harnessing her 47-stringed instrument with the augmenting power of her Line 6 loop station and combining it with guitars and Moog synthesisers, her otherworldly loops and dreamy arpeggios weave an “ambient masterwork of great emotive power” (Pop Matters). With each crafted pluck you’ll be transported from Rough Trade to the expansive landscapes of America as Lattimore unfurls these beautiful instrumentals with “dizzying emotionality” (Pitchfork).
