Mezzo-soprano Shelley Cox is originally from New Zealand but then spent many years in Oxfordshire. She has recently moved to Bristol, and now lives in the corner of a large building site that is gradually taking shape as a community of eco-homes called Water Lilies.
She recently graduated with Distinction from a postgraduate singing degree at Trinity Laban, where she was a Chapel Fund Scholar, and won the French Song competition. Alongside performing, Shelley contributes to a wide range of creative music projects, including interactive workshops for under-5s, song writing with primary school classes, pre-concert talks, devising projects with teenagers, and singing schemes with older adults.

Pianist Julia Cobby was born in London. She studied literature at Oxford University while continuing her piano studies with Paul Hamburger. She has predominantly worked with singers, combining her loves of poetry and music, and has performed regularly with Nicky Spence, Victoria Simmonds, Christine Sjolander, Julie Martin, Nuno de Araújo Pereira, and Joan Rodgers.
Alongside her performing career, Julia is committed to developing young singers and pianists, holding regular master classes and curated concerts in and around her home in Margate.
