Dijwar Khalil has recently started performing the Saz, around Bristol to delighted audiences, including a performance at last year's Celebrating Sanctuary event. With support from the LARA fund, Dijwar is quickly becoming one of the features of the Bristol music community.
Salt Cafe is the perfect place to relax and enjoy view over the waterfront, a sumptuous four course feast including homemade traditional desserts, karkadai, (a delicious Hibiscus Tea served cold and Sudanese coffee. All food cooked by Bristol Refugee Rights (BRR) member volunteers. Vegetarian options available.
A selection of Craft Ales, Lagers and Ciders and Organic Wine to buy from the bar.
All money raised will go towards keeping The Welcome Centre open, BRR's lively hub that has been providing services for asylum seekers and refugees in Bristol for more than 10 years. www.bristolrefugeerights.org
