Two intelligent, bitingly witty and inventive songwriters
Chris Tavener is the witty, satirical songwriter saying things that everybody thinks, but nobody says. Rock ‘n’ roll infused with comedy. Folk dipped in satire.
It’s like Peep Show set to music! If Jimmy Carr played guitar...he would be Chris Tavener.

He writes storytelling songs about the ironic comedy in everything from drunken romance, celebrity worship, football hooligans and small town problems. In the past year, Chris has performed at Glastonbury Festival, The Great Escape, Latitude Festival and The Edinburgh Fringe to name but a few.
In 2017, he recorded his first live album in two back-to-back, sold out shows at Manchester’s Three Minute Theatre.
