“Waxslax presents a night of dreamy snyth pop and indie rock, with headliners The Fin. hailing from the Japanese port city of Kobe on Osaka Bay. Often referenced alongside the likes of Beach House, Toro Y Moi, Mew and Washed Out. The band’s EP is was release at the end of June 2016 full of charming synth based wonder.”

“Bingo Wings is exactly what it says on the tin: Bingo & Chicken Wings. But this isn’t any olde bingo – oh no! We’ve created Bristol Lingo Bingo: so, instead of numbers, we’ll be calling out words and phrases that you’ll only hear in Bristol. We’ve got classics like ‘Ark at Ee’ and ‘Cheers Drive’, and some less common like “Let I Scab a Lambert’.”

“Proserpine are a duo working between Bristol and London. Their recordings make controlled use of synths and drum machines; a stripped back approach creating space for soulful vocals. In 2016 they released their self titled EP. For this performance they will collaborating with double bassist Caitlin Callahan and cellist Liz Muir.”

“They played at the Surrey Vaults last year and played one of the best live sets I've ever seen despite having next to no audience to play to and having all been drinking since 9am. Since then, they've played two Marc Riley 6music sessions, have supported Gang of Four, The Raincoats, The Pop Group, The Rebel, released a 7" EP and toured Sweden... Word is they practice every single day. To top it all, they are excellent human beings. They have nailed the rare feat of being a current 'guitar' band that's hard not to like.. I urge you to come and see what all the fuss is about. Have a listen to these beauts:”

“The mutant brainchild of charlie b (bass and vocal) and ben fisher (guitar), nasty little lonely provides the soundtrack to your darkest dreams, of post apocalyptic decadence, discarded trappings of consumerism gone awry, alienation and small furry creatures with very sharp teeth.”
