Events on Saturday 12th October
“The workshop will be a fun and informative introduction to the voice with some great group singing and harmony exercises. The workshop will run from 11am until 3pm with a break in the middle. All abilities and ages are welcome, expect gospel, R&B and plenty of breath technique and warm ups! A short video will be filmed at the end that people will be able to take home with them and there will also be a chance for a q&a with Ruth.”

“Jokes about staring into the Nietzschean void, the stupid decisions of kings and how Pinocchio can save the world all might make appearances in this hour of absolute silliness. But then again, maybe they won't. Who knows what could happen!”

“Delivering an upbeat live set that gets audiences bouncing around like carnival come early, The Fontanas are positive and totally feel good. Their sound consists of Brazilian Funk and jump up Latin Ska. The band is comprised of hand picked musicians who have played alongside the likes of Incognito and Alice Russell, specialists at whipping the crowd into a funky Latin frenzy.”

“Featuring original Monochrome Set members Bid (Guitar/Vocals) and Andy Warren (bass) with John Paul Moran (keyboards) and Mike Urban, who was previously in the band in the early 90s, on drums, The Monochrome Set formed in 1978, and were heavily influential in the ‘post-punk’ scene that evolved after the initial scorched earth of punk.”
