Events on Saturday 25th January
“Niyaz Saghari and Vicky Smith will run a 16mm found footage editing workshop. We will consider certain histories, theories and current practices of found footage film practice and examine sources such as the archive, official and home movies. Learn how to use film joining technology (a splicer) and flat- bed editing (a steenbeck) and the Pic Synch. Different types of editing styles (metric, montage, jump cut, (dis) continuity) will then be applied hands on to either found footage and/or to participants own films.”

“It’s me, Loulie, AKA the face that launched a thousand dicks! In this show I’ll examine relationships (all kinds, baby), mental health (other people’s, I’m fine) and perverts (that one is mainly me, actually).”

“Bristol’s bumbling ex-Darts Champion is back. A calamitous Q&A and a whirlwind journey into the soul of an idiot. The beer swigging, Fray Bentos pie-munching champ is setting the record straight in this off-beat character comedy.”

“There'll be sketches, songs and general silliness - and all of it based around audience suggestions. And if you're too shy to shout anything out? Well don't worry, you'll have the chance to write things down in the interval. We're the ones who'll look daft, not you!”

“Sully O’Sullivan is a seasoned international headliner who has performed all over the world. Renowned as an act capable of performing in any room and to any audience, Sully has also built up a reputation as one of the most dynamic and daring performers on the circuit. Possessing an abrasive antipodean delivery, he is not afraid to confront subjects many other comics would shy away from, and probably for good reason. Sully will explore areas relentlessly locating the laugh but not without a huge dose of intelligence to soften the occasional sledgehammer blow.”
