“This year, they'll be looking at the 1982 innovative film Tron and its 2010 sequel Tron: Legacy. The event will feature a double bill screening of both films as well as a discussion with Dr Pete Etchells, who has been researching the short- and long-term behavioural effects of playing video games. The Cosmic Shed panel will also be looking at the films' groundbreaking legacy in visual FX, from the original movie's use of the innovative CGI to the sequel utilising de-aging technology, something that has been utilised to great effect in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”
