Even if you're not an accordion player, come along to sing, dance or wiggle your bum for this grand celebration of this extraordinary instrument. “Kostis Tsioulakis started playing percussion at the age of 7, while he was receiving classical piano lessons. After earning a piano degree and diploma, and later harmony, counterpoint and fugue degrees, in parallel with his musical education, Kostis studied History and Archaeology at the University of Athens. Kostis moved to Bristol where he completed a master’s in film music composition (University of Bristol) and a PhD in Acoustic Composition, exploring the polyrhythms of Easter Mediterranean folk music. He currently works as a piano tutor and composer; He's been performing regularly as a pianist and percussionist in UK, Ireland, Germany and Greece.”
