Join visual artist Lola, movement artist Bibi and sound artists Annida and Lia for this afternoon workshop, apart of Together We Make's summer exploration of 'The Stem Series', experimenting with creative processes outdoors, uncovering if an how creating outdoors effects our experience and what we produce.
Bibi, Lola, Annida and Lia have come together in collaboration to form this unique opportunity to tune into our bodies sensory experience of our surrounding environment. Using the ever changing experience of what is unfolding around and within us as the source to inspire embodied movement exploration led by Bibi, finding a connection of internal and external landscapes and the ways in which we move through these spaces.
This conversation between us and the surrounding natural environment will lay the foundation for our listen and respond exploration led by Lola, as we follow on to the collaborative creation of a sculptural sonic map, an interpretive visual recording of the sounds we are experiencing in that pocket of time and space.
To close the space, we will be gifted with a relaxation and sound bath from musicians and creators of ceremony, Annida and Lia, a time to integrate the days unfolding's and to rest in deep connection to one another and the earth beneath, around and within us!

Please come with appropriate clothes for the weather of the day, a yoga mat/cushion/small rug to lay on, a vessel for fresh herbal tea, water bottle, snacks to keep you going and anything else you think you may need.
