Film & Q&A with British Pro-Surfer Emily Currie

Current Europe #2 female longboarder and 25 times national champion, Emily Currie is joining us for a film screening and Q&A to delve into what it is to be a pro surfer in the UK. This discussion will be hosted by Bristol-based longboarder Emily Vosper.

We'll be screening the first episode of her online series 'This is My Year' before jumping into a discussion around pressures in the line-up, life as a female pro-surfer and how to manage your headspace and progression within surfing.

She was the first English woman to surf on the WSL World Longboard Tour, and as a current Surfing England coach, co-founder of Zest Surf and WSL competitor, there is no-one better qualified to talk about the challenges and rewards of surfing.

We're priveledged to have Emily come to join us in Bristol and we will absolutely be offering time for audience questions as part of the evening. We'll kick off with a short episode from her online series, and then jump right into conversation. Toward the end of the discussion we will open up the floor to audience questions before wrapping up and then heading to the bar for drinks.
