See event details

A event held at Sidney & Eden on Saturday 24th January. The event starts at 20:00.

Hahahaggis returns to Sidney & Eden to showcase more celtic talent. This show sees a full Scottish line up, in honour of the Bard. With the exception of our socially-acceptable Englishman. Sidney & Eden have a hearty selection of single malts on sale, so why not celebrate Burns Night the way Rabbie would have wanted? With a night of whisky and wit! Starring: Headliner - Neil McFarlane Opener - Lynsey Smart Englishman - Jeremy Flynn MC - Stephen Bisland About the acts: Neil McFarlane is a comedian who’s been at it in every sense for the past couple of decades. Hailing from Glasgow but unfeasibly well spoken, he now lives in the London and spends his time performing across the British Isles and to international audiences. He was a regional finalist in the BBC’s inaugural New Comedy Awards, and a finalist in the Scottish Comedian of the Year and Jongleurs Comic Idol competitions back in the good old days. Latterly he's had several Fringe shows which he's taken to festivals in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Bath and Brighton. But tonight - he delights Bristol! “A sparky self-effacing wit which cannot possibly fail to please.” THEATRE BATH ------ Jeremy Flynn a “naturally funny” comic from Bristol has been a feature on the circuit since early 2015. He reached the Semi Finals of So You Think You’re Funny after only a handful of gigs. Since then he has been delighting audiences around the country with his unique mix of observations anecdotes and gags leaving audiences in metaphorical stitches. He has gone on to work for some of the best clubs and promoters in the country including the Glee Club, Comedy Store, Up The Creek, Off the Kerb and Little Wander to name a few. In 2019 he was nominated for the prestigious Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year. “Routines written with ruthless efficiency, delivered in a punchy relaxed style with sparkling payoffs. Jeremy’s likable, relatable and most importantly, hilarious!” Farcical Comedy
