Stand-Up WIP: Alasdair Wallace & Tom Hutchinson at Sidney & Eden
See event details

A event held at Sidney & Eden on Thursday 16th May. The event starts at 19:30.

Tom is a ball of anxious geekery. Alasdair is gay and trans. What do you do when the world looks like a Gillette advert but you can’t grow a beard? Well, sometimes we end up asking ourselves - “Are we… not men?”

Emerging South West comedians Alasdair Wallace (Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2024 finalist, BBC New Act 2023 shortlist) and Tom Hutchinson (Bath New Act 2022 finalist) bring you a very silly chronicle of their attempts to figure out who they are, who they want to be, and what they’re learning along the way. Expect twists, tangents and trips to the absurd, from board games to feral monkeys, from the finer points of testosterone gel to taking on the admiralty.

“One of my favourite pieces of stand-up I’ve seen in years” - BGT semifinalist Nick Page
“Brilliant…Assured and Polished” - Aftermirth
“Ripped the gig to the extent it became genuinely hard to follow…Big belly-laugh routines you don’t normally see newer acts doing” - Craft Comedy
