SCRAMBLED COMEDY COURSE at Sidney & Eden
See event details

A event held at Sidney & Eden on Thursday 18th January. The event starts at 18:00.

Love your local stand up scene but don't see your own humour or experiences reflected in it?
The funny one in your friend group but your mates are sick of being your audience?
Can't watch live comedy because you feel sick with envy?
Want to challenge yourself in a healthy way?

WELL its time to get started in stand up comedy. You know it, your friends know it and even your cat knows it.
This is a beginners guide, with a focus on encouraging a more diverse and exciting scene. WE NEED YOUR VOICES! We cover joke writing, mic holding, nerve battling and community building. The dos and donts and all the things you usually find out after you have done them wrong. This is the basics, not exhaustive, but enough to start you on your journey into funny.

Hosted by Bristol's favourite MC (scrambled comedy, Sheden comedy, seen on BBC 1 and banned from BGT) Eva Bindeman, but taught by a range of professional acts.
