held at Sidney & Eden
on Wednesday 22nd March. The event starts at 19:30.
Jon Wagstaffe (opener)
A simple country lad from Tewkesbury Jon Wagstaffe burst onto the scene in May 2011 and has propelled himself quickly into being a well known act on the comedy circuit. His mix of high energy and clever writing make audiences warm to him instantly. Now experienced in playing to stag & hen parties to corporate nights, pubs to festivals, comedy clubs and competitions Jon is comfortable in any room. His take on modern life will have any audience in fits of laughter. He is also devilishly good-looking and has beautiful hair.
Andy Field (closer)
Writer and star of his own Radio 1 series The Andy Field Experience, Andy has made an impact on the comedy scene with his silly style and refreshing approach to traditional stand up.
TV appearances include BBC Presents: Stand Up For Live Comedy (BBC 1 & BBC 3), The Stand Up Sketch Show (ITV2), Pie and a Pint (Comedy Central), Sunday Football Roast (Facebook Live) and As Yet Untitled (Dave).
A regular at festivals such as Latitude, Download, Bestival, Leefest and Secret Garden Party, Andy is fast becoming a familiar face at top comedy clubs around the country. He has hosted his own webseries In The Tub, in which he interviewed up-and-coming bands in the bath (of course).
Ludicrously good lineups, great beer and cocktails and a lot of laughs! That's what we're promising at Bristol Comedy Den, TV stars and the best of the UK comedy circuit.
If you're already a comedy fan then this is the best show in town, and if you've never been to see live standup before - this is THE ONE to watch.
Hosted each week by either Burt Williamson or Greg Winfield, there's no night quite like this anywhere else in Bristol.
