Love and Laugh at Smoke & Mirrors

A event on Wednesday 11th June. The event starts at 19:30.

Love & Laugh is the ultimate show of comedy and romance! Watch comedians tell jokes about their relationship disasters and discover what are people’s biggest dating icks. Plus we will be joined by an industry expert, who will share real insights on how to spice up your love life.

On top of this, all the acts will be ready to solve your own romantic dilemmas.

Our MC is Love & Laugh founder Peter Hose. He's on a mission to use humour to help people build better romantic connections with themselves and other people, whether that lasts for a lifetime or a moment.

We're joined by Blake, a multi-award-winning adult film director and political campaigner. They are queer, non-binary, kinky and a sex worker. They have devoted their career to advocating for awareness and acceptance of non-mainstream sexualities, particularly those that fall under the BDSM, fetish, and LGBTQIA umbrellas.

We have the hilarious Elizabeth Johnson performing. Liz is a farmer, comedian and vet in training, who’s arguably better at reading the body language of sheep than men!

We also have the brilliant Bristol comedian Alasdair Wallace. Alice describes themselves as extremely gay and incredibly trans. They are a firm favourite on the local comedy circuit.

So whether you're coming with a date or flying solo, this event promises to be an uplifting experience. Don’t miss out on this fun, warm and inclusive show about love (and a little naughtiness).

Entry requirements: 18+
