Following the success of our second event in 2022, we will indeed be returning for 2023!
@SomethingInWoods for announcements and updates (Instagram/Facebook)
In 2022 we raised £630.50 for charity which was then generously topped up to £1000 by our lovely Lucys day job (The Bristol Port Company). With your help, collectively we were able to donate £500 each to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal and Frontline 19 (for NHS frontline workers).
This is a weekend of live music, camping, games and good times, all for a good cause.
If you've made it this far you probably already have an idea of what the event is about, so here are the key points...
• The site will be open from Friday 19th May 2023 to arrive and pitch your tent in the beautiful Wrekin Forest setting.
• This year we will have a full line up on the Friday night to get the party started.
• Saturday will have bands throughout the day. Not to mention the infamous 'Slugs Arms' bar.
• Sunday will be time to pack up and leave for home, theres no hurry, feel free to take your time!
• Bring your own booze, or donate to our very reasonable charity bar should you run out or wish to change your tipple up a little.
This event is not publicly advertised so please pass on to friends and family who will enjoy being part of it. Simply put, the more people we get together, the more we can put in to making this a great weekend! (This is non profit - any money left over will go to charity).
We'd like to encourage everyone to get their tickets as early as possible, as it hugely helps us in the organisation of the event (might as well be honest about it).
