Fatih Akin's (Head On, In the Fades) marvellous musical journey through Istanbul gets a twentieth anniversary outing at the Southbank Club. With Alexander Hacke (bassist with Einsturzende Neubaten) as its guide, the film deftly showcases the vibrant Istanbul music scene with Turkish rap, hip-hop, gypsy, Kurdish dirges, sufi devotional music, prog rock, and pop music all making an appearance.

To add to the evening's ambience there will be live bellydancing, and traditional Turkish sweetmeats, savouries and beverages available to buy (cash)!
