Synopsis :
In a suburban French town, three neighbours — a divorced mother, a gig worker, and a tech-averse retiree — find themselves overwhelmed by the absurdities of modern digital life. From social media humiliation to algorithmic injustice, they face a world that’s both familiar and strangely alien. As they struggle to reclaim control over their online identities, they embark on a clumsy but heartfelt quest for justice, dignity, and connection.
Delete History is a bittersweet comedy that blends satire with tenderness. It explores how technology, designed to connect us, often leaves people behind — and how, in their missteps and confusion, we rediscover what it means to be human.
What is in it for you ?
What happens when ordinary people can no longer navigate the world we’ve built?
Their misadventures are absurd, hilarious, and deeply touching. Through their misfitness, we glimpse something rare: a raw, unfiltered humanity that resists the alienation of our hyper-connected age.
This film is heartwarming not because it offers solutions, but because it dares to show people as they are — confused, kind, and quietly rebellious. It reminds us that out of all the ways we could organise society to live sweet, meaningful lives, we’ve somehow chosen one that often isolates and commodifies. And yet, in this strange world, laughter and solidarity still bloom.
