FOLK CINEMA

A Live Storytelling and Cinema Night

presents...

SONG OF THE SEA

Inspired by Celtic magic and folklore, this beautiful hand-drawn animation tells a story of the ancient Irish legend of the Selkies, magical beings who live as seals in the water and as humans on land.

Storyteller Clare Muireann Murphy will be welcoming you to the event with a storytelling performance that will guide humans of all ages into the magical realm of Irish folklore.

After the feature we’ll also be playing a programme of animated Irish folk songs from the fantastic animators at Cartoon Saloon for you to listen to over a drink at the bar if you wish to hang around.

We’ll have comfy seats, popcorn, a fully stocked bar and a colouring area for the little ones, just bring a blanket and join us under the fairy lights on the final eve of Samhain!
