Dear friends, fam, and lovers of Compass - we are having a party and you are all invited!
After a very busy, brilliant Summer full of film events and festivals, we are heading into a much quieter winter period. We need to raise some money for the company coffers, and are keen to bring together all the wonderful people we’ve worked with this year. SO, we’re doing what we do best and having a big ol’ knees up!
Expect a typically eclectic Compass mix of offerings!
Headlining will be Rave Queen Gaba Ghanoush with an outrageous cabaret DJ set that wowed revelers at our Shambala venue.
There will be a lock-in with Mynza Pint (leopard-print-clad love child of Pat Butcher and Peggy Mitchell, furnished with drinks trolley).
There will be vogueing courtesy of members of Bristol Ballroom (a highlight of our Around the World in BS5 show along Stapleton road);
Absurdist punk DIY arts collective The Ducks will set the weird tone with a mini-set that nods to their storming entry to our stage this year at Shambala.
At the other end of the spectrum, enjoy classic R&B from Ujima Radio DJ and local legend, DJ Style (for whom the crowds went wild at our expanded screening of Summer of Soul, underground at the Galleries).
Some of Compass’s most beloved DJs, Papa Moomin, Average Joe and DJ Pammy will set the wheels of steel alight, paving the way for even more Compass eclecticism across the night.

Please consider donating to Compass when you buy your ticket. Your generosity will help us with our core running costs when times are increasingly tight, and ensure we weather the winter and emerge, healthy and primed, to bring you more events and experiences in the spring!
We are sorry but the venue is not fully wheelchair accessible.
