Imagining the Future of Transport at Sparks Bristol
Sliding scale: free/£10(covers lunch)/£25(supporter)

A event held at Sparks Bristol on Saturday 23rd November. The event starts at 10:00.

We know that transport is essential to social inclusion, economic activity and wellbeing - but it is a major challenge in the West of England area. We invite all residents in Bristol, Bath, South Gloucestershire, North East Somerset, and North Somerset to join us on a journey imagining the transport system we want. If you were in charge of the Directorate for Passenger Experience, what would you do? How can our daily journeys be comfortable, easy, and stress-free? Which travel experiences are most forgotten-about? Is it family days out? Getting home from night-time hospitality work? Deliveries? Getting to and from shift work or care work? Sunday visit to granny? Rural journeys? Suburban neighbourhood to neighbourhood connections? Come and share your ideas, dreams and imagination with your fellow residents, and get ready to tell our regional decision-makers what is needed as we lead up to the next WECA Mayoral election in spring 2025.
