To celebrate World Fair Trade Day we have a event where you enjoy a delicious afternoon tea and hear from a selection of speakers to help us think about our food journey - from source to back to the Soil.

Headline Speaker: Yesenia María Palacios Lumbi, a Fairtrade Coffee farmer visiting Bristol from Nicaragua, who will tell us about her life and the true impacts of Fairtrade. Yesenia is visiting schools in Bristol for just 2 weeks and this will be her only public event in Bristol.

Isra Ibrahim, owner of Box Alkayf, a brand of ground Sudanese coffee. “Sudanese coffee is not just a drink; it’s an important part of our heritage and traditions. We prepare it in a special way called Jabana, and it is always associated with hospitality and gathering people together.

Our hands-on composting workshops explore the full journey of regeneration. You will leave with the knowledge and confidence to start composting and building healthy soil in your own space.
