A
event
held at Sparks Bristol
on Wednesday 21st May. The event starts at 18:00.
This intergenerational storytelling event will bring together women activists from across generations to share their personal journeys and hard-earned lessons, with the aim of inspiring and equipping the next wave of changemakers. This special gathering will feature a dynamic lineup of guest speakers—seasoned activists who have been at the forefront of significant feminist and social justice movements including Greenham Common, the Bristol Bus Boycott, racial justice campaigns, workers’ rights advocacy, and the fight for reproductive freedom.
Attendees will hear first-hand accounts of activism, explore strategies for effective social change and reflect on how the landscape of activism has transformed over time. The event will foster meaningful intergenerational dialogue, encouraging participants to build upon the legacy of past movements and envision the future of activism together.
Following the storytelling portion, the event will move onto an interactive Q&A and breakout discussions, offering space for reflection, connection, and collective imagination.
This event welcomes individuals who identify as women, as well as non-binary people who feel they would benefit from participating.
