Come and gather around the fire for live music, folktales, a letterpress workshop and a baked pot luck + more to celebrate Lammas day!
Lammas traditionally marks the first harvest. It is the height of summer, a time to reap what we sow and gather to share the first grains of harvest. For this we invite you for a baked goods pot luck ( if you want to bring along some bread, cake, biscuits, cookies to share please do)
From 7pm - 8pm we will have an art workshop. Try your hand at letter pressing with Inky Hands Press. Make a print to take home.
Music will be performed by talented guitarist Louie Newlands. Get lost in his enchanting finger plucked magic.
There will be fire and folktales and then...
John Barleycorn must die..... (for the greater good)
Open mic: As always we welcome you to share a song, poem or story around the fire.
Location: Springfield Allotments Andover Road, Knowle, BS4 2RY.
This is an outdoor event. Dress to stay warm and footwear for any uneven ground.
Gates open 7pm
