on Sunday 21st December. The event starts at 19:00.
Come and wander with us…
As we gather to celebrate Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year and the return of the sun.
With beautiful live music from Sid Plimmer, handmade shadow puppet folktales, cosy fire, open mic, present swap, a lovely film short, tea, Yule treats and more.
We will be celebrating the return of the light as from each day forward the days will become lighter.
We will be marking a time to do as nature does, a time to retreat, rest and reflect so we can be ready for when Spring comes.
Open mic - if you would like to share a song, poem, story or thought we would love to hear it.
Present swap - Bring a small gift to swap with someone it could be something handmade, edible, found, natural, recycled, letter/poem or a book. You don’t have to spend money.
Sid Plimmer, known for his unique brand of folk music rooted in rural English landscapes, dark stories, and childhood imagination. His work features a blend of poetry and song, with themes including demons, drunkards, and community outcasts.
Wander Gather we use the arts to reconnect people to nature and the seasons.
