Old Apple tree we wassail thee...

Lets gather around the old apple tree for this ancient tradition of blessing the trees for a good harvest to come. We will be warding off the evil spirits with pots and pans and waking up the fruit trees from their winter slumber before serenading them with wassail songs.
Live music from Bristol Ceilidh collective around the fire. Mulled apple juice, tea and biscuits for all.

Plan for the day

3.20pm Meet on the hill
3.30pm Parade through the woods to the orchard
Wassail ceremony with songs, toast blessing and mulled apple juice
Sunset bonfire, live music and tea and biscuits
Finish approx 5.30pm

This is an outdoor event so dress to stay warm, footwear for uneven ground and a torch for when it gets dark.
