Come and Wander with us....
Lets gather around the campfire to celebrate Summer Solstice with music, folktales, found sounds, poems, tea and more.
Summer Solstice marks the longest day of the year and beginning of summer. Soak up the beautiful surroundings of Springfield Allotments with views over Bristol as the sunsets on Spring and we welcome in the summer.
We will have music from Eve Appleton. Eve is a songwriter and poet of modern progressive folk music. Her songs give voice to the stories of betrayed lovers, tragic heroines and the lost children of the past.
Summer Solstice has been celebrated since ancient times. We will root into the rituals and merrymaking of Summer Solstice celebrations with stories and folklore. There will be time for anyone who wants to share a song, poem or story to share around the fire
Tea, biscuit and marshmallows for all.
